Definitely recommend Cookies by Design for specialty cookies for a party or event. We recently ordered cookies for a graduation party, and they looked and tasted great (a guest at our party even joked about how surprised she was that they actually tasted good since specialty cookies often don't!). Good communication over email and phone to finalize the order, and cookies were ready on time, nicely packaged, and a big hit at the party. They're not cheap, but they do great work over there.

I honestly feel scammed. This place is a textbook example of a social media trap—all neon signs and pretty presentation, but the actual food is borderline offensive. We ordered the double chocolate brownie cookie and the red velvet cream, and I’m pretty sure they’ve been sitting in a display case since last Tuesday. • The Double Chocolate Brownie Cookie: It was completely overbaked, bone-dry, and had the texture of a kitchen sponge. There was zero molten center, just a bitter, chalky mess that desperately needed water to wash down. • The Red Velvet cream: The crust was so stale and rock-hard that we couldn't even cut it with a fork. When I finally snapped a piece off, the cream inside tasted exactly like unsalted tub butter. No sugar, no vanilla, just cold grease. To add insult to injury, two pathetic desserts cost nearly $40. The staff acted like they were doing us a massive favor just by taking our order, and the hygiene at the pickup counter was questionable at best. It takes real effort to make desserts look that good and taste that awful. Save your time, save your money, and don't fall for the hype. Absolute trash.

I needed last minute gender reveal cupcakes to celebrate finding out the gender of our baby and Stacey did not hesitate to help me. So friendly and helpful, and they were ready so fast. Highly recommend this bakery, it’s so cute inside, good service and very accommodating, and yummy!

Easy ordering process. Next day delivery. The corporate headquarters texted and the Naperville store called to ensure my delivery was received. Beautiful cookie bouquet. Excellent quality, freshly made, and the cookies were large. Thank you Cookies by Design in Naperville for a job well done. I hope corporate improves their website. I would have added a Congratulations balloon if it was offered online, the only balloon that was offered was a Happy Birthday balloon which was not the occasion. Thanks again.

Ordered cookies for corporate use as a sales rep on the east coast for work and I couldn't be happier with how they came out! The shipping was so quick, and they were packed with love and care so no cookies broke/were damaged. They also taste so good for cookies that are printed on. My clients are obsessed with them!
